I have a desk that belonged to my grandfather, John Evans. The inscription reads Anrheg gan Eglwys Cynulleidfaol Capel Newydd Llandilo. It goes on to thank him for his service as leader of "caniadaeth y cysegr" and is dated March 1920. The desk is now in Leamington Spa and is in daily use!
