Laying of Jabes' foundation stone

Jabes is the Baptist Chapel in Llanychlwydog, Cwm Gwaun, Pembrokeshire. The current building was completed in 1904 so I suspect this photo was a couple of years, maybe one, earlier. The prominent gentleman on the right, to the rear, wearing a bowler hat was John Evans of Pengegin. Not an ancestor of mine. I'm sure some distant relations must be in this photo though!
