Then & Now: Hope Street, Wrexham

Hope Street Wrexham. The first photograph was taken c.1900 and the second in 2011. Note the shop selling tea and another, shoes; and the motorbike and sidecar (without a licence plate) in the photograph - can you identify the make? The building with an unusual roof at the end of the street is the neo-Tudor Talbot hotel which still has shops on its ground floor. The whole street is now pedestrianised.
